Delete your Wamda account

In the app (the fastest way)

• Open Wamda.
• Go to Settings, then Privacy.
• Tap Delete my account and confirm.

If you want a copy first, use Download my data on the same page. A store subscription does not end with your account: cancel it in your Apple account settings.

If you cannot open the app

Email support@mywamda.com from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. You do not need to reinstall anything.

We never delete an account just because someone knows its email address. We reply to that address and ask you to confirm, and may ask for more to check it is yours. If you used Sign in with Apple's private address or a guest account, tell us, and we will explain what we can verify. We will email you when deletion is done.

What is deleted

• Everything Wamda saved from what you said (your cards), transcripts, recordings, people, places, settings and usage records.
• Your private trip spending, memories, memory photos and gift information.
• Your connection to WHOOP, which we ask WHOOP to end, and the Apple Health summaries your phone sent.

What stays for other people

A shared list or trip does not disappear for the others when you go. It passes to whoever joined first, and only goes when nobody is left.

• Shared list items stay, with your name removed as their author.
• On a trip that passes on, bookings, tickets, stops and shared packing stay, and your name can remain on the list of travellers.
• Copies people made outside Wamda are beyond our reach.

What other services keep

Apple keeps its purchase records, and support emails stay in our mailbox. Deleting your account also ends a Sign in with Apple connection, after Apple asks you to confirm. Connected calendar entries stay in your calendar until you remove them. We do not automatically ask analytics and purchase providers to delete their records: email us and we will.
